What is an individual family constellation like?
A family constellation is usually a process that is worked on in several sessions.
-
- 1st session: in-depth interview. In this first session we explore your current situation, your history and the issue you wish to work on, as well as the goals you want to achieve.
- 2nd session: creation of the genogram. We draw your family tree to observe connections, patterns, and dynamics that may be influencing your life. From there, new questions arise that broaden our understanding of the system.
- 3rd session: systemic movements are made. Using figures, dolls, templates or visualizations, which allows representing and observing the internal dynamics in an experiential way.
- 4th session: ritual and integration. Closure and integration of systemic movements into your body and your life.
Each session lasts approximately one hour, with a space of two or three weeks between them to allow time to absorb the material covered in the sessions.
